Neil T. Fairholm, age 66, of Rochelle, IL, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2008 at his home. He was born on May 2, 1942, in Philadelphia, PA, the son of Tom and Doris (Taylor) Fairholm. Neil married Doris Hickson, on October of 1981, in Chicago Ridge, IL.
He was a retired truck driver for the Teamsters Union Local #705, was previously a Building Inspector for Chicago Ridge and a member of the Rochelle Residential Building and Zoning Committee.

Survivors include his wife: Doris of Rochelle; 2 sons: William (Patty) Fairholm of Chicago;
Daniel Fairholm of Kentucky; 5 stepsons: Tim (Debbie) Carrion; David (Kathleen) Carline of Rochelle; Michael (Bev) Carline of Denton, TX, Thomas (Denise) Carline of Bourbonnais, IL,
and Steven Carline; step daughter: Kimberly (Kevin) Schiro; sister: Doris Bisiules; 15 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Services will be held at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Rochelle, IL, on Monday, Nov. 10, 2008 at 10:00 AM with Rev. David Peck. Visitation will be from 9 to 10 AM Monday, prior to the services at the Church. A memorial has been established.
