Nicole Renee Mayer, 44, passed away Friday, April 15, 2016 in Houston, TX. Nicole was born August 9, 1971 to Paul and Linda (LeMar) Mayer in Rochelle, IL. She attended AIB College of Business in Des Moines, IA. She made her home in Houston, TX, where she entered the corporate business world. Nicole rose quickly to Executive Assistant to the CEO of one of the world's largest companies. She flew around the country in corporate jets to fulfill her job.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Danny Mayer; her nephew, Kyle Mayer; maternal grandparents, Clyde and Pauline (Jared) LeMar, paternal grandparents, Howard and Irene (Hartman) Mayer, and Aunts and Uncles, Jody (Mayer) Harms and Jerry Harms, Phyllis (LeMar) Nicholson and Marvin LeMar.

Nicole is survived by her parents, Paul (Debra) Mayer of Rochelle and Linda LeMar of Creston, IL; daughter, Paige Meyer of Houston, TX; brother, David (Lorri) Mayer of Lindenwood, IL; step dad, Dan Kluesner of Storm Lake, IA; step brothers: Jay Kluesner of Aurora, IL, Jesse Kluesner of Crystal Lake, IL, Alex Dodson of Rochelle, IL and Matt Dodson of Durango, CO; niece, Amber (Matthew) Wittenauer of Rochelle, IL; great niece and nephew, Autumn and Bentley Wittenauer; Aunts: Jane LeMar and Sherry Bennett of Rockford, IL and Shirley LeMar; step nieces and nephews: Ally (Jeremy) Bagg, Courtney and Brooke Dodson; and Jocelyn and Isabella Kluesner; great-step nephew, Hayden Bagg and many cousins.

The visitation is from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M., Friday, April 22, 2016 at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. 6th St., Rochelle. The funeral service will be at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, April 23 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 1415 10th Ave, Rochelle, with Pastors Greg Hoffmann and Chris Navurskis officiating. Burial will follow the service at Trinity Memory Gardens in Rochelle.
