Norma L. Snyder, 76, loving mother and grandmother passed away Sunday, February 19, 2017 at her home with her family at her side. Norma was born April 22, 1940 in Rochelle to LaVerne and Flossie (Shook) Vanstone. She worked at Eaton's Corporation for 37 years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, LaVerne Vanstone and sister, Donna McPherson.

Norma is survived by her children: Terry (Lee) Erickson of Flagg Center and James Snyder of Adoulphus, KY; two sisters: Rita (Roger) Heller of Rochelle and Deb (Bud) McIntire of Conowingo, MD; three grandchildren: Miles (Brandi) Erickson, Cassie (Joshua) Schiebel and Jasmyn (Jose) Ortiz and six great grandchildren: Tayler and Alyssa Schiebel, Chase and Ryker Erickson and Aiyana and Damean Ortiz.

The visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. 6th St., Rochelle. The funeral will be at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, February 23 at the Funeral Home with Pastor Ron Larsen officiating. The burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Creston.
