Norman L. Jaeger 80 of Lindenwood, IL died Friday, November 09, 2012 in Swedish American Hospital.
He was born on October 18, 1932 in Lindenwood, IL, the son of Theodore E. and Esther P. Timm Jaeger. Norm married Donna H. Rundberg on February 7, 1959 in Rockford, IL. He served in the US Army during the Korean War. He worked for Brink and Jaeger Construction and then for Swensen Spreader for 5 years before retiring. He was previously involved with the Lynn Scott Rock Fire Department, Lindenwood School Board, and actively involved with Antique Packard Car Clubs. Member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church of Lindenwood. Preceded in death by his parents, and 2 brothers: Theodore and Donald Jaeger.
Survivors include his wife: Donna of Lindenwood; 4 children: Ronna (Brent) Williams of Rochelle, Norna (Todd) Seaworth of Lindenwood, Kenneth (Jennifer) Jaeger of Garden Prairie, IL, and Jeffery Jaeger of Lindenwood; 6 grandchildren: Matthew (Nicole) Williams, D.J. Williams, Aaron Jaeger, Nate Jaeger, Joel Detig, and Jackie Detig; 2 great grandchildren: Kaitlyn and Brooklyn Williams; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am, on November 14, 2012 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Lindenwood with the Rev. David Yarrington officiating. Visitation will be from 5 - 7 pm on Tuesday at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N 6th St., Rochelle. Memorials may be made to the Lynn Scott Rock Fire Department or the Immanuel Lutheran Church. Burial at the Lindenwood Cemetery.
