Obituary
Ottolyn "Ottie" A. Berry, 62, of Rochelle, passed away on Friday, Sept. 14, 2007 at
Alden Nelson Deves in Rockford, IL. She was born on Sept. 19, 1944 in Chicago, IL
the daughter of O. J. And Alberta (Hickstein)Taylor. Ottie married Virgil Berry on March 21, 1964. She was preceded in death by her father, O.J. Taylor. She had been employed by Caron International and Eaton Corporation in Rochelle.
Survivors include her husband Virgil of Steward, IL; a son: Joel (Rachel) Berry of Rochelle; 2 daughters: Ginger (Scott) Awalt of Steward, IL and Janine (Brian) Erdahl of Downs, IL; 2 brothers: Dwayne (Sarah) Taylor of Ashton, IL and Barry (Vicki) Taylor of DeKalb, IL; her mother: Alberta of Rochelle; 8 grandchildren: Jacob, Nick, Benjamin, Alison, Jonah, Miranda,
Angel, and Julia; a niece: Tifany and nephew: Little Barry.
Services will be held at Unger-Horner Funeral Home on Thursday, Sept. 20, 2007 at 10:00 AM
with Pastor Norm Stark. Visitation will be held at Unger-Horner on Wednesday, Sept. 19th from
4 to 7 PM. Burial will be at Trinity Gardens, in Rochelle. A memorial has been established.
