Pamela Jo Needham-Volkert, 67, passed away Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center in Rockford, Illinois.  Pam was born on December 24, 1957 in Sycamore, IL to Donald C. and Joan I. (Fritsch) Needham.

Pam worked for the Rochelle Community Hospital for 30 years before retiring in 2024. Pam loved being with her friends and visiting The Northwoods Wisconsin as much as she could.  Pam adored her dog, Dori & the family's three cats. She enjoyed hanging out with her granddaughter as much as possible, watching TCM and working on her sudoku books.

Pam is survived by her son, Sam (Maggie) Volkert of Rochelle; two step daughters: Kimberly (Todd) Stecker and Stephanie (Eric) Kersten; and grandchildren: Joanna Volkert, Noah (Sophie) Stecker, Luke (Sonya) Stecker, and Madison and Eli Kersten; her sister, Peggy (Jeff) Yagen; Niece Maggie (Neil) Foy & their children Ashton & Jeffrey. She cherished her time with many Aunts, Uncles, friends and Family. She is preceded in death by her parents, Don and Joan.
