Patricia L. Beard, 66, passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2016 in her home. Pat was born December 11, 1949 San Mateo, CA. She married Steven R. Beard on April 20, 1996 in Rochelle, IL. She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Dorothy Huber and her first husband, Harold Wayne Erdahl on June 22, 1993.

Pat is survived by her husband, Steven; two children: Doug (Kara) Erdahl of Winnebago, IL and Kelly (Mike Turner) Samp of Rochelle, IL; three stepchildren: Matt (Kim Struthers) Beard of Tampa, FL, Michelle (Mike Wallace) Beard of Salem, WI and Michael Beard of Rockford, IL; brother, Scott (Pam) Huber of Castro Valley, CA; four sisters: Linda (Michael) Fuller of Brentwood, CA, Shelley (Tim Maxfield) Lewis of Lodi, CA, Cindy Annand of Mathe, CA and Shari (Dean) Johnson of Sparks, Nevada; and eight grandchildren: Karli, Mya and Reese Erdahl, Paige, and Wade Samp and Katie and Julie Zavodny.

The funeral service will be 10:00 A.M., Monday, January 11, 2016 at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. 6th St., Rochelle with Pastor Duane Boehm of the Hillcrest Baptist Church officiating. The visitation will be held from 2:00 - 5:00 P.M., Sunday, January 10 at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Lawnridge Cemetery in Rochelle.
