Patricia A. Byrd, 84, passed away Friday, November 3, 2017 in Portage, Wisconsin. Pat was born July 7, 1933 in Underwood, North Dakota to Peter and Norrine (Doole) Fuchs. Pat married Donald E. Byrd on November 27, 1954 in Rochester, MN. He preceded her in death on March 24, 1988. In addition to her parents and husband, she is predeceased by her brother, Peter Fox and brother-in-law, Donald Wangen. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, St Mary's Catholic Church in Portage WI and the V.F.W. 3878 Auxiliary.

Pat is survived by five children: Deborah Byrd of Stoughton, WI, Linda (Anthony) Logan of Newport News, VA, Norrine (Richard) Leick of Evansville, WI, Pamela (Randell Swalheim) Byrd of Portage, WI and Charles (Jaqui) Byrd; brother, Donald (Marlene) Fox of Austin, MN; two sisters: Beverly Simmons of Marysville, WA and Dolores (Donald) Wangen of Lanesboro, MN; eight grandchildren: Brian Abbott, Andrew (Jennifer) Abbott, Scott (Tricia) Leick, Michelle (Dennis) Sloniker, Ashley Leick, Nichole (Eric) Rauch, Ryan (Jessica) Westby and Laura (Aaron) Burlingame and 13 great grandchildren: Dausyn, Ethan, Annabella, Willow, Amber, Dakotah, Mallory, Melanie, Macie Rae, Brynn, Madelyn, Giovanni and Vincenzo.

Pat will be remember by her quick whit personality and friendly smiling face. Pat's family would like to extend a special thanks to Hamilton Park Place for their loving care, which they provided to her like she was family, and a special thank you to her care takers who gave their all.

The visitation will be from 9:30 - 10:30 A.M., Saturday, November 11, 2017 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 236 Kelley Drive, Rochelle. The funeral will follow the visitation at 10:30 A.M., with Father Ruben Herrera officiating. Burial will be at Steward Cemetery. Memorials may be made in Pat's name to Agrace Hospice, 5395 E.
