Franklin Grove

Patricia Ann McAdam, 90, formerly of Rochelle, passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at Franklin Grove Living and Rehab Center in Franklin Grove, Illinois.  Pat was born on November 10, 1933 to William M. and Priscilla (Rogan) Madden in Chicago, IL.  On April 16, 1955, she married Robert D. McAdam in River Forest, IL.  He preceded her in death on July 7, 2002.

Pat worked in the emergency room at the Rochelle Community Hospital as a registered nurse for many years.  She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Rochelle where she volunteered in various capacities.  Pat was always willing to help out wherever she could.  Her family and grandkids meant everything to her.

Pat is survived by her three children: Bruce (Marie) McAdam of Glendale, AZ, Brad (Amy) McAdam of Mt. Vernon, WA and Margaret McAdam of Rochelle, IL; ten grandchildren: Deanne, Gerald, Caytlyn, Devin, Shelly, Robert, Andy, Chris, Matt and Dustin and 15 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Bob, Pat was predeceased by her son, Gerald W.M. McAdam, in 1967.

The visitation will be from 10:00 - 11:00 A.M., Monday, April 15, 2024 at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. 6th St., Rochelle. The Forest City Nurse Honor Guard will be present at the visitation.  The funeral service will follow at 11:00 A.M., Monday with Pastor Joy Alsop officiating.  Burial will be at St. Patrick Cemetery in Rochelle.  Following the burial, there will be a luncheon at the Rochelle V.F.W.
