Obituary
Peggy P. Krahenbuhl, 64, of Rochelle, passed away on Thursday, April 2, 2009 at Hospice of Arizona in Sun City West, AZ. She was born on Jan. 11, 1945 in Mendota, IL, the daughter of
Carlos Vincent and Adele (Ichorn) Parsons. She married U. S. Air Force Captain LeRoy Clyde Schaneberg in 1965. He was killed in action on June 30, 1970, when his helicopter was shot
down during the Vietnam War.
Peggy married Frank "Dick" Krahenbuhl Jr. on Feb. 16, 1973 in Phoenix, AZ.
She was a bookkeeper for many years for Krahenbuhl Chrysler-Jeep prior to retiring.
Survivors include her husband Dick of Rochelle; daughter: Vicki (Joe Benjamin) Finkboner of
Rockford, IL; sister: Colleen (Terry) Fletcher of Fulton, MO; brothers: Carl (Lynn) Parsons
of Jefferson City, MO, Pat ( In Hui) Parsons of of Lincolnton, NC, Barry (Susan) Parsons of Jefferson City, MO, Tammy Parsons of Jefferson City, and Douglas Parsons of Jefferson City, MO; several nieces and nephews.
Services at Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. 6th St., Rochelle, on Friday, April 10, 2009
with Rev. Brett Todd at 10:00 AM. Visitation is Thursday at Unger-Horner from 4 to 8 PM. Burial at Lawnridge Cemetery. In lieu of flowers: Memorials to American Cancer Society.
