Rachel Anne Larsen, 26, of Rochelle, passed away Thursday, November 28, 2024, at the Rochelle Community Hospital. She was born July 8, 1998, in Rochelle, the daughter of Shane and Sylvia Larsen.

Rachel was a graduate of Rochelle Township High School, Class of 2016. She worked at Erie Foods International in Rochelle for 4 years. Family was of the utmost importance to Rachel. They were at the forefront of her life, especially her two girls to whom she dedicated her life. She loved to be outside with the girls, going to the park, and enjoying their time together. Rachel was able to enjoy all the little things life had to offer. She loved cooking, family cookouts, listening to music, shooting guns, and vacations with the family and her girls.

Rachel is survived by her children, Hazel Phoenix Belmonte and Via Maria Belmonte; the father of her children, Buddy Belmonte; her significant other, Choson Scanlan; her father, Shane (Aleksandra Giza) Larsen and mother, Sylvia Larsen; two brothers, Anthony (Katie) Pacheco and their daughter Zella Middleton, and Seth (Heather Zies) Larsen; uncles and aunts, Steven Amador, Cindy Amador, Hector Amador Jr., and Alethea Larsen and her children, Jesse and Tristan Null; and paternal grandparents, Ken and Judy Larsen.

Rachel is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Hector and Beatrize Amador.

Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until 3:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. 6th Street in Rochelle. A celebration of life will follow the visitation at 3:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Cremation care will be provided after the services. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Rachel's memory may be directed to the family for a memorial to be established.
