Ramona Estelle Carlson, 77 of Sycamore, IL; passed away on Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at Bethany Healthcare in DeKalb. She was born on Aug. 13, 1933 in Rochelle to William McKinley
and Stella Henriette (Reppine) Olson. Ramona graduated from Steward High School. On June 24, 1972, she married Gerald E. Carlson. Ramona was a member of Steward Methodist Church and was a Star Trek Fan. Her final request was, "Beam me up Scotty-There's no intelligent life here." Previously, she was employed by Aigners in Rochelle. Ramona was strong and courageous through many years of fighting various health ailments.

Survivors include husband: Gerald of Sycamore; son: William (Connie) Snider of Creston
and a special friend: Marge Gregory of Cottonwood, AZ

Services will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, July 1, 2011at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, with Pastor Glen A. Stewart officiating.
Visitation will be prior to the service at Unger-Horner from 9:30a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
Burial at Steward Cemetery. Memorials to the Steward Methodist Church, Maintenance Fund.
