Raul H. Milan Jr., 44, of Rochelle, lost his life at Lake Lida on Saturday, June 30, 2012, while attempting to help a friend in trouble. He was born on May 4, 1968 in Michoacan, Mexico to Raul and Feligonia Milan. He was the plant manager for North Star Foods in DeKalb, IL,
which was formerly Cavel International. Memberships include St. Patrick Catholic Church.

Survivors include children: Oscar Milan and Anaisa Milan both of Rochelle; his parents: Raul and Feligonia Milan of Rochelle; 4 brothers: Aldo (Adriana) Milan, Gonazlo (Maria) Milan, J. Amparo (Cristina) Milan, Moises (Estilita) Milan of Rochelle; 3 sisters: Elsa (Gerardo) Murillo and Maribel (Gontran) Fulgencia both of Rochelle and Celina (Ignacio) Milan of Mexico.

Services will be at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Rochelle, on Saturday, July 7, 2012 at 1:30 PM. Visitation will be Friday, July 6th from 4 to 8 PM at Unger-Horner Funeral Home. Burial at St. Patrick Cemetery in Rochelle. Memorials can be made to the family.
