Obituary
Ray J. Sexton, 84, of Rochelle, passed away on Monday, May 24, 2010 at Rochelle Gardens
Care Center. He was born on Dec. 9, 1925 in Greenville, TN to Henry and Laura (Dixon)
Sexton. Ray was a Korean and WWII Army veteran. Prior to retiring, he was a sheet
metal worker. He was preceded by his parents: and brothers and sisters: Edna Earl (Aldridge) Sexton; Lewis Sexton, Chester Sexton, Audery "Aud" Sexton, Blanch (Sexton) Branch, Pauline Sexton, Inez Sexton, and Cecil Sexton.
Survivors include 3 sons: John (Johnette) Sexton of Rochelle and Tom (Jennifer) Sexton
of Minneapolis, MN and Dave (Kim) Sexton of TX; sisters: Marzella Dobson and Fay Sexton both of Greenville, TN; grandchildren: Nicholas, Troy, John, Tristen, Brianna and Jasmyn, Deanna and Damon; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
Memorial services will be held at Saturday, May 29, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Unger-Horner Funeral Home with Rev. Randy McCoy officiating.
In lieu of flowers: Memorials can be made to Ogle County Hospice. The family would like to thank Rochelle Gardens and Ogle County Hospice for the special care given to Ray.
