Lindenwood

Raymond A. Jaeger, 93, passed away Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at Serenity Hospice and Home in Oregon, Illinois. He was born June 8, 1920 to Christopher and Helen (Wendorf) Jaeger in Lindenwood, Illinois. He married Lois Ann Dunahoo on March 19, 1949 in Lindenwood. Ray was a technician for Barber Coleman, retiring in 1982. He is an honored veteran of World War II, serving our country with the Army. Ray is a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Lindenwood. He is preceded in death by three sisters: Myrtle Bearrows, Mabel Woodrick and Lucille Saathoff.

Ray is survived by his wife, Lois, his daughter, Leah (Scott) Anderson of Rockford, IL, three grandchildren: Matthew (Holly) Anderson, Keri (Anthony) Collamati and Kourtni Anderson; four great grandchildren: Brandy and Addie Anderson, Hugo Ray and Rocco Collamati and one sister, Evelyn Fell of Rochelle.

The funeral service will be 10:30 A.M., Monday, November 11, 2013 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Lindenwood with Pastor David Yarrington officiating. The visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:15A.M. prior to the funeral service. Burial will be at Lindenwood Cemetery. The family request memorials be made to the Immanuel Lutheran Church or Serenity Hospice and Home.
