Richard "Dick" Hamilton 56, of Rochelle died Friday Dec. 8, 2006 at Kindred Hospital in Sycamore, IL. He was born Jan.15, 1950 in Streator, IL the son of Richard M. And Evelyn M. (Clayton) Hamilton. He married Lynn A. Gebhard in Streator, IL on Aug. 21, 1971.

Dick was employed at Del Monte in Rochelle as manager of Quality Standards from 1978 to 2004 when he retired due to his health. He was also a commissioner of Flagg-Rochelle Park District from 1993 to 2006 and was President for 12 years. He was also a volunteer director for the Rochelle Youth Basket Ball Association (RYBA) for many years.

Funeral services will be Monday Dec. 11th at 10:00 a.m. at St Patrick Church with Rev. David Peck. Visitation will be Sunday 2 to 5 at Unger-Horner funeral home, 400 N. 6th St. Rochelle.
