Obituary
Richard M. Rhoades, 78 of Rochelle, passed away on Wed. June 1, 2011 at Rochelle Rehabilitation Center. He was born on Dec. 20, 1932 in Rochelle to Carl and Dell (Mansfield) Rhoades. Memberships include Rochelle United Methodist Church and Rochelle Moose Lodge. Prior to retiring, he was employed by Caron Int. Richard was preceded in death by his parents and brother: Joseph C. Rhoades Jr.
Survivors include sister: Louise Plourde of Rochelle; nieces, nephews and grand niece and nephews.
Public Moose Memorial service is scheduled for Sunday, June 5 at 2:00 PM at the Rochelle Moose lodge, 311 N Main St. Rochelle, with a luncheon to follow. Grave side services will be held at Lawnridge Cemetery on Monday, June 6, 2011 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Brett Todd. In lieu of flowers: memorials to Rochelle United Methodist Church.
