Robert "Bob" A. Stoddard, 75, passed away Sunday, July 21, 2019 at Northwestern Hospital in Chicago. Bob was born on October 8, 1943 to Charles and Alma (Young) Stoddard in Fort Wayne, IN. He married Sharon Lee Dame on November 2, 1963 at St. Patrick Church in Rochelle. Bob worked as an electrician journeyman for 20 years and then for the Illinois Tollway as a control technician for another 16 years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and proud member of the IBEW 364.

Bob is survived by his wife of 55 years, Sharon; three children: Rich (Shelly Rogers Todd) Stoddard of Rochelle, Debbie (Rex) Brown of Loves Park and Greg (Cathey) Stoddard of Byron; brother, Eugene (Mary Jane) Stoddard of Fort Wayne, IN; sister, Judy Snoke of Phoenix, AZ; nine grandchildren: Ben and Zack Stoddard, Sam (Jen) Brown, Katie (Jordan) Austin, and Molly (Sam) Winnett, Taylor, Chase, Faith and Macey Stoddard and four great grandchildren: Elise Brown, Lilly Austin, Hailee and Matthew Winnett. He is preceded in death by his parents.

The visitation will be from 9:30 - 10:30 A.M., Friday, July 26, 2019 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 236 Kelley Drive, Rochelle. The funeral service will follow at 10:30 A.M. with Father Ruben Herrera officiating. Burial is at St. Patrick Cemetery in Rochelle. Memorials may be made in Bob's memory to the Dark Horse Lodge.
