Obituary
Robert E. Bearrows, 81 of Rochelle, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 23, 2011 at the
Greater Peoria Specialty Hospital in Peoria, IL. He was born on July 2, 1929 in Rochelle to
Harry B. and Gladys M. (Paddock) Bearrows. Bob graduated from Rochelle Township High School in 1947. On July 7, 1950, he married Evelyn Marie Greenfield in Rochelle, IL. Bob was a manufacturing engineer, retiring from Twin Disc in Racine, WI, in 1990 and was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church.
Survivors include his wife: Evelyn of Rochelle; daughter: Melinda (Tim) Kaufman of Metamora, IL; sons: Thomas (Holly) Bearrows of River Forest, IL, Patrick (Sharon) Bearrows of Sycamore, Il, Jeffrey (Pamela) Bearrows of Dallas, TX and Michael Bearrows of Cedar Rapids, IA; sister:
Nancy (Fred Walters) of Rochelle. He was a wonderful and loving grandfather to: Elli, Paige, Margaret, and Peter Kaufman and Alison, Sara, Shelby, Harry and Brett Bearrows.
Services will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Rochelle, IL on Thursday, Jan. 27, 2010 at 11:00AM with Rev. Greg Hoffmann. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 PM on Wednesday at
Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. 6th St. in Rochelle. Memorials to St. Paul Lutheran Church. Burial at Trinity Memory Gardens.
