Robert William Cultra, 62, passed away suddenly December 20, 2016. Bob was born June 24, 1954 to William R. and Dorothy (Rowley) Cultra in Rochelle, IL. He was a 1972 graduate of Rochelle Township High School. He married Lori Reed on June 18, 1983. He was employed for 33 years with Sonoco/Alloyd. Bob loved his kids and grandkids and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is preceded in death by his father.

Bob is survived by his wife of 33 years, Lori; four children: Phillip (Tara) Cultra of Rochelle, Sherry (Michael) Eckert of Rochelle, Amanda (Beau) Westin of Springfield, IL and Elayna (Ryan) Updegraff of Jacksonville, IL; two brothers: Mike (Sherri) Cultra of Rockford, IL and Doug (Vanessa) Cultra of Cherry Valley, IL; sister, Yvonne (Dennis) McBride of Rochelle; six grandchildren, the joys of his life: Jade Barringer, Cole and Cade Cultra, Allen Eckert, Aubrianna and Tessa Updegraff and two soon-to-be additional joys: Baby Nolan Robert Westin due March 2017 and Baby Eckert due June 2017.

The visitation will be from 4:00 - 7:00 P.M., Monday, December 26, 2016 at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. 6th St., Rochelle. The funeral will be held at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, December 27 at the funeral home with Chad Hall officiating. Burial will follow at Trinity Memory Gardens in Rochelle.
