Robert S. Dunlap, age 46, died unexpectedly on Sunday, April 15, 2018 at the Central DuPage Hospital with his family at his side. He was born on May 18, 1971 in Las Vegas, Nevada, the son of Douglas and Dorothy (Blake) Dunlap. Rob graduated from Hoffman Estates High School and then Illinois State University. He married Ruta Loibaite on May 26, 2012, together they have two sons: Dean Blake Dunlap and Bodhi Daniel Dunlap. Rob was a kind-hearted good friend to all, his laugh was irresistible, and his determination inspired all. He loved spending time with his family, especially his wife and sons. Rob co-founded and owned Absolute Orthodontics.

He is survived by his wife, Ruta Dunlap, two sons: Dean and Bodhi; parents: Douglas and Dorothy Dunlap; three brothers: Richard (Jamie) Dunlap, Greg (Kate) Dunlap; Bryan (Karen) Dunlap; sister, Lori (Mark) Demange; nieces and nephews: Matthew, Virginia, Lydia, Neil, Dylan, Jack, Kyle, Jessica and Brendan.

Visitation is going to be from 11 am to 12:45 pm on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at the
Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N 6th St., Rochelle, IL. Funeral service will follow at 1 pm on Saturday at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home with Deacon David Mahoney officiating.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established for the education of his sons.
