ROBERT L. GITTLESON, 50, died unexpectedly on Monday, January 4, 2010 while at work. He was born on Oct. 26, 1959 in Rochelle, to Allen and Doris (Purvis) Gittleson. In 1977, he graduated from Rochelle Township High School. Bob married Diane Weber-Molitor on Jan. 2, 1988 in Steward, IL. Bob was employed as a heavy equipment operator for A. J. Mc Dirtt Inc. and as a member of Operator's Union #150. Our "Big Teddy Bear" will be missed.

Survivors include his wife Diane of Rochelle; children: Jenny Gittleson of Rochelle and special friend Brett Russell; Andy (Mindie) Molitor of Glendale Heights, IL and Jon Molitor of Rochelle; parents: Allen and Doris Gittleson of Steward; brothers: Dave (Joyce) Gittleson and Albert (Michele Rogers) Gittleson both of Rochelle; and sister: Lois Gittleson of Woodridge, IL, and many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Thursday, Jan. 7th, 2010 at Unger-Horner Funeral Home from 4 to 8 PM.
Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, Jan. 8th at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, with Rev. Steve Dow officiating. A luncheon will follow funeral service at the V.F.W. Post 3878 in Rochelle. Cremation rites will follow services.
