Robert Shane Redman Jr., 28, of Davis Junction, IL, passed away on March 21, 2010 at his home. He was born on May 28, 1981 in Elgin, IL, the son of Robert Shane and Janet Audrey (Riggs) Redman Sr. He was a 2000 graduate of Stillman Valley High School and was on
the 1999 State Champion Football Team. Rob was in the Army National Guard in Machesney Park, and worked in the chemical plant. He was preceded in death by his father: Robert Redman Sr. and grandfather: Olaf Riggs.

Survivors include his mother: Janet (Brian Kittleson) Riggs of Davis Junction; daughter: Harmoni of Woodstock, IL; brother: Cameron Awe of Davis Junction; his true love: "Liz" DuFore of Woodstock, IL: sisters: Kellie and Courtney Awe of Woodstock, IL: grand parents:
John and Dawn Colborn of Belvidere, IL; Peggy Riggs of Marion, IL; step brothers: Brenden, Blake and Nick Kittleson of Davis Junction; several aunts and uncles including Jim and Mary Fergeson of Jamestown, NC.

Services will be held at Unger-Horner Funeral Home in Rochelle, IL on Friday, March 26, 2010 at 10:00 AM. Visitation at Unger-Horner from 5 to 8 PM on Thursday, March 25th. Burial at Lawnridge Cemetery in Rochelle, IL.
In lieu of flowers: A memorial has been established to the family in care of the Byron Bank.
