Roberta K. Etes 42, of Rochelle, died Wednesday Dec. 3, 2008 at Swedish American Hospital after a long illness. She was born April 28, 1966 in Chicago, IL the daughter of Harold and Carol Fleenor. She married James M. Etes on Aug. 10, 1998 in Oregon, IL.
Roberta was preceded by stepson: Bradley Etes.

Survivors include her husband James of Rochelle; 2 sons: Tim Fleenor serving in the US Army
stationed in Germany and Ryan Fleenor of Rochelle; Daughter: Jessica Thomas of Rochelle;
parents: Harold and Carol Fleenor of Hillcrest, 2 stepsons: Scott (Heather Bonnell) Etes of Creston, IL and Jeremy (Tyanne) Etes of Rochelle; step daughter: Trisha Etes of Rochelle; 3 sisters: Denise (Jay) Miller of Rochelle, Sophie (Kevin) Conway of GA, and Patricia (William) Jarett of TN; 4 grandchildren
and 10 nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at Unger-Horner Funeral Home on Saturday, Dec. 6, 2008 at 11:00 AM
with Rev. Doug Cowan. Visitation will be at Unger-Horner, 400 N., 6th St., Rochelle, from 10 to 11 AM prior to the service. Cremation rites will follow. A memorial has been established.
