Roberta Lea Pigg, age 73, passed away at the Rochelle Gardens on Tuesday, September 3, 2013. She was born on April 2, 1940 in Elizabeth, IL, the daughter of Walter and Helen Wright Wade. She married William N. Pigg on April 2, 1984, he preceded her on September 12, 2009.
Roberta was also preceded in death by her parents, twin brother: Robert Wade, and son Ray Bashaw.

Survived by her 3 children: Patrick Fortune, Michele (Ralph) White, and Dawn Middendorf; sister: Jean (Dudley) Banks of Waukegan; 2 nieces and 2 nephews; multiple grandchildren, and a great granddaughter.

Roberta was a very generous person, and fulfilling her wishes, she donated her body to the Anatomical Gift Association in Chicago to further advances in medical science. Unger Horner Funeral Home, 400 N 6th ST., Rochelle assisted the family with donation.
There will be no public services.
