Roberto T. Reyes, 80, of Rochelle, passed away Monday, October 7, 2019, at his home surrounded by his loving family. Roberto was born April 17, 1939 in Peñon Blanco, Durango, Mexico, the son of Wenceslado and Sara (Torres) Reyes. He married Juanita G. Gonzales on May 22, 1972.

Roberto is survived by his wife, Juanita; four children: Roberto (Elizabeth) Reyes Ayala of Waco, TX, Sara (Dennis) Martinez of Rochelle, Sonya (Eric) Belmonte of Rochelle, and Nancy Reyes of Rochelle; nine grandchildren: Roberto Reyes Medina, Carlos Reyes Medina, Daniel Reyes Medina, Lizbeth Reyes Medina, Michael Belmonte, Mario Belmonte, Marissa Belmonte, Cora Martinez, and Kara Martinez; a great-granddaughter, Ivanna Belmonte and a great-granddaughter on the way, Estela Belmonte, and many special brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Roberto is preceded in death by a sister, Guadalupe T. Reyes, and an infant grandchild, Baby Reyes.

Visitation will be from 4-8 P.M. Friday, October 11, 2019 at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. 6 ^th St. in Rochelle.

Funeral Mass will be at 1:30 P.M., Saturday, October 12, 2019, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 236 Kelley Dr. in Rochelle with Father Ruben Herrera officiating. Interment will follow in St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery in Rochelle. Please visit www.ungerhorner.com to sign the online guest book.
