Robert "Bob" James Jensen, 79, passed away Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at Franklin Grove Living and Rehabilitation in Franklin Grove, Illinois. Bob was born on July 1, 1942 to Harold E. and Lucille J. (Joseph) Jensen in Evanston, IL. On June 16, 1962, he married Patricia Diane Jones. Bob owned and operated Jensen Electric in St. Charles, IL. from 1985 until his retirement in 2012. Previous to that he was a member of Local 134, IBEW, and spent a year in Prudhoe Bay Alaska working on the Trans-Alaska Pipeline System. Motorcycles and piloting his hot air balloon were his favorite free-time activities. We will miss his twinkle of love.

Bob is survived by his wife of 59 years, Patricia of Rochelle; five children: Randell (Susan) Jensen of Lake Barrington, IL, Ross (Dawn) Jensen of Sycamore, IL, Timothy Jensen of DeKalb, IL, Joseph Jensen of Rochelle, IL and Bonnie Jensen of Aurora, IL; two grandchildren: Caroline and William Jensen and many nieces and nephews.
