Obituary
Roger D. Quest, 69, of Rochelle; passed away on Sunday, Oct. 30, 2011 at Kishwaukee Community Hospital in DeKalb. He was born on July 28, 1942 in Rochelle, the son of Ralph J. and Gladys B. (Withrow) Quest. Roger married Diana L. Kuemmel on Sept. 15, 1961 in Rochelle.
He was preceded by his parents: Ralph on May 13, 1983; mother: Gladys on Oct. 21, 2001; and
sisters: Charlotte Billie Quest, Barbara Montanus and Betty Whaley. He owned and operated Quest Excavating and Trucking in Rochelle. Memberships include Loyal Order of the Moose
and he was president of the Kyte River Drainage District.
Survivors include his wife, Diana of Rochelle; sons: Robert Quest of Bourbonnais, IL, Randy Quest of Corpus Christi,Texas and Ronald (Shelley) Quest of Rochelle; 4 Grandchildren: Jeremy Quest, Lauren Quest, Sydney Quest Gurkin, and Logan Quest; great grandchild: Jayden Quest ; and brother: Richard (Francis) Quest of Arkansas.
Services at Unger-Horner Funeral Home, Rochelle, IL, on Thursday, Nov. 3, 2011 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Ken and Anne Erickson. Visitation at Unger-Horner on Wed. Nov. 2, 2011 from 4 to 8 PM. Burial at Lawnridge Cemetery in Rochelle. Family requests memorials to New Life Foursquare.
