Ronald Alan Ciganek, age 64, passed away on Monday, October 3, 2011 at his home with his family by his side. He was born on Dec. 14, 1946 in Chicago, IL to Emil and Lavergne M. (Olson) Ciganek. Ron married Patricia A. O'Neill on June 27, 1981. He was formerly employed
by Rochelle Pharmacy and served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his Wife: Patricia of Rochelle; children: Tamara "Tammy" (Scott) Gordon of Wisconsin Rapids, WI, Terry Jenner of Kaukauna,WI, Robert "Bob" Pearson of Rochelle, Michael "Mike" Ciganek of Savoy, IL, Kevin Ciganek of Bettendorf, IA, and Ronald "Ronnie" Ciganek of Rochelle; brother: Richard (Phyllis) Ciganek of Fox River Grove, IL;14 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be at Unger Horner Funeral Home, 400 N 6th St., Rochelle at 7:00 PM on Friday; Oct. 7, 2011, with visitation from 4 to 7prior to the service. A memorial has been established.
