Roosevelt Rawles Jr., 46 of Rochelle, passed away on Wed. Jan. 7, 2009 at St. Anthony Hospital
in Rockford, IL. He was born on Jan. 2, 1963 in Washington, DC, the son of Roosevelt and Shirley (Brown) Rawles. He was preceded in death by his parents. He was a U. S. Army Veteran.
Survivors include a son: Devion; 3 brothers: Harold (Gracia) Rawles of Oak Brook Terrace, IL, Raymond Rawles of Denver, CO and Charles Hamlin Jr. of Rochelle; sisters: Carolyn Rawles of Memphis, TN and Peggy (Stanley) Miners of Lahman, MD.
Services will be held at Unger-Horner Funeral Home on Monday, Jan. 12, 2009 at 11:00 AM.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 am prior to the service on Monday. Burial will be at Lawnridge Cemetery in Rochelle with military services by VFW Post 3878. A memorial has been established.
