Rose M. Fisher, 72, of Rochelle, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2009 at Kishwaukee
Hospital in DeKalb. She was born on April 7, 1937 in Rochelle, to Etsel and Sophie May (Knicely) Carter. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother: Bud Carter; Sister: Lorraine Sherwood and Daughter: Sherry Fisher. Prior to retiring, she was employed by Eaton Controls.
Survivors include son: Gene Fisher of Rochelle, daughter: Cindy (Ron) Blomberg of Ashton, IL; Brothers: Richard (Fran) Carter of Davis Junction, and William Carter of Rochelle; sisters: Arlene (Glenn) Davis, Shirley Williams, Mary Ann Davis, Juanita Brimhall and Sherry (Robert) Thompson all of Rochelle; 4 grandchildren: Christina, Carrie, Jennifer and Steven; 4 great grandchildren: Addison, Ethan, Nathaniel, Joshua, Brent, and Nicholas.
Visitation will be held Monday, Dec. 28, 2009 at Unger-Horner Funeral Home in Rochelle
from 9 to 11 AM. Graveside services will follow at 11:30 AM Monday, at Trinity Memory Gardens with Rev. Brett Todd. Cremation rites were arranged by Unger-Horner Funeral Home.
Memorials can be made to Ogle County Hospice.
