Rosemarie Karas, 82, passed away Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at Franklin Grove Living and Rehabilitation in Franklin Grove, Illinois.  Rosemarie was born on October 4, 1941 to Frank A. and Bessie H. (Hain) Karas in Chicago, IL.

For 37 years, she worked for the Federal Government as an Environmental Protection Specialist.  In her earlier years, she enjoyed the outdoors and most recently enjoyed her many favorite tv programs.

Rosemarie is survived by her son, Jeff (Karen) Karas of Rochelle; sister, Shirley Peterson of Morris, IL; and two grandchildren: Alan and Jamie Karas.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by sister, Lorrayne Karas, infant sister, Loretta; niece, Loretta LaBrec and nephew, Ronald Rodrigues.
