Rosemary Ida Schopp, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, age 68, passed away at the Rochelle Community Hospital after a brief illness on Thursday, August 17, 2006. She was born on May 8, 1938 in Newton, IL, the daughter of John and Rosa Ochs Rubsam. Rosemary married Ronald A. Schopp on August 13, 1958 at the Methodist Church in Pekin, IL. She worked at Avery Dennison for over 15 years, she had also worked at Caterpillar, Delmonte and at the Rochelle Township High School in the cafeteria. She is a member of the St. Patrick Catholic Church. Preceded in death by her parents, and brother: Robert Rubsam.

The funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, August 21, 2006 at the St. Patrick Catholic Church, Rochelle with the Rev. David A. Peck officiating.

Visitation will be held from 4 - 7 PM on Sunday at the Unger Horner Funeral Home, 400 N 6th St., Rochelle.

Burial will be at the Lawnridge Cemetery

A memorial has been established to the Leukemia Society.
