Ross David Gittleson, 43, of Malta, passed away Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at Rochelle Community Hospital. Ross was born August 12, 1978 in Rochelle, the son of David Gittleson and Catherine Armstrong. He was an avid Chicago Bears and Chicago White Sox fan.

Ross is survived by his lady, Kimberly VanderPal; children Dalton, Danielle, Taylor, and Ariel; father, David (Joyce) Gittleson; mother, Catherine Armstrong; brother, Jeff (Stacey) Feltes; sister, Cate (Brandon) Jones; step-sister, Michaela (Geoff) Satterlee; his best friend, Dale Clark; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Ross will be missed by his family, extended bonus sisters, and friends.

Cremation care has been provided by the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, Rochelle. A celebration of life will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, December 4, 2021, at T-Byrd Lanes, 1172 Lincoln Highway, Rochelle. In honor of Ross, the family encourages you to wear Bears or White Sox clothing to the celebration of life.
