Roxy Faye Hill 71 of Steward, IL died Saturday Feb. 14, 2009 at home. She was born Dec. 20, 1937 in Creston, IL the daughter of Edward and Irene Austin Cardott. She married Charles W. Hill in Oct. 15, 1954. He preceded her on Feb. 15, 1993. Also preceded by an infant brother Eddie Cardott and a grandson Jason Rosen.
Survived by 2 sons Roy (Marilyn) Hill of Erial N.J. and Ryan (Jennifer) Hill of Jacksonville, FL.
2 daughters Roxanne (Robert) Condon of New Haven, CT and Robin (Kevin) Sanders of Williamsburg, VA. 6 brothers Ronald (Beverly) Cardott of Steward, IL, Roy (Eddie Mae) Cardott of Rochelle, IL, Richard Cardott of Cordova, IL, Ralph (Barbara) Cardott of Mt. Morris, IL, Randy (Pat) Cardott of Bentendorf, Iowa and Rusty (Shirley) Cardott of Alberta, Canada.
One sister Rosalie Nordeck of Cordova, IL
8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

A celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday Feb. 17, 2009 4 to 7 P.M. at the Steward Fire Station in Steward, IL. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to American Cancer Society or the Steward Fire Department.
