Russell W. Berry, Jr. age 13, of Creston, IL passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2008 at Rochelle
Community Hospital in Rochelle, IL. He was born on March 8, 1994 in Little Rock Arkansas
the son of Russell W. Berry Sr. and Katherine E. Sills.
Russell was in the 8th grade at Creston Grade School and played the trumpet. He was an honor student and was a member of the National Junior High Honor Society in Texas. He aspired to be a building engineer.
He is survived by his mother: Katherine (Timothy Miller) Sills of Creston, father: Russell Berry Sr. of Kingsland, TX, 2 sisters: Cheyenne Berry and Deja Brewer of Creston. Grandmothers:
Lorraine (James) Carter of Liberty, TX and Virginia Massey of Kingsland, TX; grandfather: Dennis Berry of Austin, TX; and several aunts and uncles.
A memorial service will be held at Unger-Horner Funeral Home on Saturday, Jan. 5, 2008 at
3:00 PM with a visitation at 2:00 PM prior to the service. In Lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established. Cremation services were arranged by Unger-Horner Funeral Home.
