Russell R. Rodefelt, 76 of Rochelle, passed away on Wed. May 13, 2009 at Swedish American Hospital in Rockford, IL. He was born on Oct. 31, 1932 in Pana, IL; the son of Herrmann and Nanette Grace (Hall) Rodefelt. Russell married Lorraine Watson on Nov. 12, 2003.
Prior to retiring, he was employed as a welder for Caterpillar Tractor CO, and Rochelle Foods for many years.
He was preceded by brothers: Ivan, Billy, Leo, Richard, and Earl and sisters: Hazel, Martha,
Eleanor, Stella and Dorothy. Russell is survived by one sister Sylvia Cross of Owaneco, IL.

Survivors include wife: Lorraine of Rochelle; Sons: Dana (Carol) Rodefelt of Sycamore;
Daniel Scott Rodefelt of Rochelle and stepsons: John, Raymond (Heidi) and Tony; Grandchildren: Natasha, Jennifer, Nathan and Scott and 2 step grandchildren; Tyler and Alana;
2 great grandchildren: Jackson, and Connor

Memorial Services will be at Unger-Horner Funeral Home in Rochelle, on Monday, May 18, 2009 at 10:00.Visitation will be one hour prior at 9:00 AM on Monday.
Cremation rites were arranged by Unger-Horner and inurnment will be at Daysville Cemetery
in Oregon, IL with Military Services provided by the V.F.W. Post 3878. A memorial has been established.
