Ruth I. Harrolle, 98 of Rochelle, passed away on Wed. April 20, 2011 at Neighbors Nursing
Home in Byron. She was born on March 23, 1913 in Lindenwood, IL; to Frank and Mabel
(Reints) Strang. Ruth married Luther Dale Harrolle on Nov. 25, 1929 in Oregon, Il and he
preceded her on Jan. 26, 1994. She was also preceded by twin sons: Frank and Fred; daughter:
Beverly Jennings; granddaughter: Jenifer Dale Jennings; brothers: Willard, Francis, infant Clarence and Calvin Strang; sisters: Cora Beck, Edna Beach, Fern Rittmeyer, Stella Baker,
Grace Huntley, Edith Hill and Marie Dunahoo.
Survivors include: sons: Dale E. (Joyce) Harrolle of Sand Point, ID and Richard (Florene) Harolle of Ava, MO; sisters: Iris Sturgill, Vera McQueen and Margaret Hoffmann all of Rochelle; sister-in-law: Lorraine Strang of Lindenwood, IL, and Ruth Strag of WA ; and many many, many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Services at Unger-Horner Funeral Home in Rochelle on Monday, April 25, 2011 at 11:00 AM
with visitation at one hour prior to the service on Monday at 9:45 to 10:45 AM.
Burial at Trinity Memory Gardens. Memorials to be established.
