Sabina Castro, 84, of Rochelle, passed away Monday, December 30, 2024, at the Rochelle Community Hospital. She was born September 8, 1940, in Mexico, the daughter of Apolinar and  Sofia (Hueramo) Belmonte.

Sabina is survived by her six children: Evelia, Martha, Javier, Paola, Lourdes, and Fernando; 19 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 3, 2025, from 10:30am to 11:00am at Iglesia Jesucristo Es La Respuesta, 901 5th Avenue in Rochelle.  Church service will follow from 11:00am to 12:00pm. Interment will be at Lawnridge Cemetery in Rochelle following church service.
