Samuel L. Tague, age 58, passed away on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at OSF St. Anthony Hospital in Rockford with his family at his side. He was born on September 3, 1963 in Crawfordsville, Indiana, the son of Robert and Sondra (Lover) Tague. Samuel married Silvia Sanchez, she preceded him in death on February 24, 2016. Samuel enjoyed being outdoors playing any sport involving a ball, hiking , fishing and he loved spending time with his family. Samuel worked at Americold prior to an auto accident, we are deeply grateful for the healthcare workers that cared for Sam over the years.

Samuel is survived by his 3 daughters: Marisa (Kyle Combs) Tague of Rochelle, Marina (Luke) Stockton, and Sammi (Isaac Salido) Tague of Hillcrest; grandsons: Leon Combs, Barrett and Beckham Stockton; 2 brothers, Steve (Kathleen) Tague, Daniel (Rosemary) Sanchez; 2 sisters, Maria (Harold) Ashcraft, and Shauna Tague; nieces and nephews, Ron (Michelle) Bandy, Milagro Sanchez, and Josh, Isabel, Simon, and Johanna Tague; great nephews, Michael Bandy, Dylan Bandy, and Jonathan Ibarra; and other special friends, Ron (Letty) Cerruti.
