Santos Hueramo, 95, passed away Sunday, April 6, 2014 at Katherine Beta Shaw Hospital in Dixon, Illinois. Santos was born November 1, 1918 to Simon and Eulalia (Fulgencio) Hueramo in Mexico. He married Sebastiana Castro. He was a farmer. Santos is preceded in death by his daughter-in-law, Carmen Hueramo; brothers: Martiniano Hueramo, Eusevio (Chona) Hueramo; and sisters: Nativida (Leonardo) Villalpando, Calletena (Federico) Ortiz, Angelita (Adricula) Diaz, Prudenciana (Silvestre) Nava, Senaida Hueramo; and his son, Jose Hueramo.

He is survived by his wife, Sebastiana Hueramo; 5 sons: Salvador (Altagracia) Hueramo, Rogelio (Honorina) Hueramo, Cirenio (Evelia) Hueramo, Amparo Hueramo all of Rochelle and Romeo Hueramo of Salt Lake City, UT; one daughter, Feligonia (Raul) Milan of Rochelle; 29 grandchildren: including special granddaughter, Maria G. Fulgencio, 46 great grandchildren, and 6 great great grandchildren.

The funeral service will be 10:30 A.M., Thursday, April 10, 2014 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 244 Kelley Drive, Rochelle with Father Juan Ayala officiating. The visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M., Wednesday, April 9 at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. 6 ^th St., Rochelle. Burial is at St. Patrick Cemetery in Rochelle. Memorials may be made to the family.
