Sharon A. Knoerzer 47 of Rochelle, IL died Monday Dec. 28, 2009 in her home with her family by her side. She was born June 17, 1962 in Beloit, WI, the daughter of Ronald and Barbara (Cassidy) Knoerzer. She is preceded by her mother Barbara. Member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and U. S. Army veteran. Sharon was employed by 3M in DeKalb, IL. Sharon was active at St Patrick's Church in retreats, Eucharistic Ministry and teaching CCD. She also enjoyed crafting and spending time with her daughter Larecia.

She is survived by her daughter; Larecia M. Knoerzer of Colombus, OH, parents; Ron and Glorine Knoerzer of Lake Saint Louis, MO, brothers; Thomas (Cindy) Knoerzer of Ashburn, VA, and Tim (Deborah) Knoerzer of Lake Saint Louis, MO, step brothers; David (Toni) Ciabatti of Brodhead, WI, and Kevin (Amy) Ciabatti of Rockford, IL. Also twelve nieces and nephews.

Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 31, 2009 at St Patrick Catholic Church in Rochelle, IL with Father Steven Lange officiating.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM on Wed., Dec. 30th with a Rosary Service at 5:30 PM at Unger-Horner Funeral Home in Rochelle. Visitation also on Thursday prior to Funeral Mass from 9 to 9:45 at church.
Burial will be at St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery in Rochelle with military services provided by the V.F.W. Post 3878.
