Sherri was born on August 15, 1981, in DeKalb, Illinois, the daughter of Larry and Debra (Leonard) Drew. She joined her Grandma Drew and Grandpa Leonard in heaven on June 22, 2026. Sherri was very social, greeting everyone she met as a good friend. Sherri attended school through the Life Skills program of Ogle County Education Coop, attending classes in Mt. Morris, Byron and Rochelle over the years. When she completed high school, she began attending the Village of Progress in Oregon where she made many friends.She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Raymond and Alice Drew, and George Leonard. She is survived by her parents, Larry and Deb; brother Mike and his wife Michele Drew of Sterling; maternal grandmother Codelle Leonard; nieces and nephews Allison (Cody McCraw) Valenzuela, Zephan Drew, Holliana Drew, Lenna Drew and Logan Ayala; and aunts and uncles Nancy and Don Schabacker, Carol and Don Elliott, and Connie Lauf.Visitation will be at the First Presbyterian Church in Rochelle at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 27, with the service following at 11:00 with Teresa Green officiating. Interment will be at Lawnridge Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Village of Progress.
