Shirley J. Johnson, 78 of Rochelle, IL; passed away on Sunday, Aug. 26. 2012 at Rochelle Rehabilitation Center in Rochelle. She was born on March 19, 1934 in Oxly, MO to Albert B. Krigbaum and Zetta Agnes Krigbaum. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother: Paul Krigbaum and her daughter: Deborah J. Dickson on Oct. 20, 2007. She had previously been employed by Caron International.
Survivors include Son: Steven (Angela) Johnson of East Prairie, MO and daughter: Rhonda (Philander) Phelps of Sikeston, MO; brothers: Bob ( Gertrude ) Krigbaum of Macon GA and Jack (Betty) Krigbaum of Ashton, IL; sisters: Glenna (J.C.) Robertson of Rochelle, IL, Judy Booth of DeKalb, IL, Pam (Jim) Fenwich of Roscoe, IL and Sherry (Raymond) Quinn of Long Island, NY: 9 grandchildren: 6 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at Unger-Horner Funeral Home in Rochelle, IL on Thursday, Aug. 30, 2012
at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be Thursday prior to the service from 9:45 to 10:45 AM. Burial will be at Ashton Cemetery. A memorial is established.
