Steven C. Egland, 64, passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2020 at his home in Rochelle. Steve was born on October 21, 1956 to Amos C. and Genevieve J. (Ostwig) Egland in Rochelle, IL. Over the last several years, he worked at Nestle's and then at the Rochelle Community Hospital. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Heather Egland, on December 18, 2014.

Steve is survived by his two grandchildren: Benjamin Clark and Abigail Edmiston; four brothers: Ken (Pat) Egland of Waukesha, WI, Ron (Beth) Egland of Rochelle, Mike Egland of Dixon, IL, and Brian (Ellen) Egland of Sugar Grove, IL; nieces and nephews: Brianne (Paul) Hoffercamp, Adam Egland, Jeff Egland, Kendra (Jeff Holden) Egland, and Brad (Jayme Thomas) Egland; great nieces and nephews: Greyson Hamilton, Brayden and Asher Egland, Addison Egland, Lucas Egland, and Rowynn and Everly Holden.
