Susan V. Hall, 56, of Katy, TX, formerly of Monroe Center, passed away at her home Saturday, November 28, 2015. Susan was born September 5, 1959 in Belvidere, IL, the daughter of Richard C. and Violet (Reed) Hall. She is preceded in death by her father. Susan was a 1977 graduate of RTHS. She obtained her LPN from Lamar University and her bachelor's degree from University of Texas Health and Science Center. She was a registered nurse who also taught nursing at Lone Star Community College CyFair. Susan loved to travel, especially on cruises. She was an avid fan of the game Bejeweled.

Susan is survived by her mother, Violet Hall; six siblings, Richard (Rosemary) Hall, Sarah (Randy Dummer) Hall, Sally (Randy) Butler, Roland Hall, Shelia (Jesse) Hoiness, and Randy (Vicki) Hall; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; a special friend, Brenda Joyce Whitaker; and four special cats, Zoe, Blue, Mater, and Lilly.

Visitation will be from 9:00-10:50 A.M. Friday, December 4, 2015, at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. 6th St., in Rochelle. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home with Pastor David Spooner officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery in Creston.
