Tami Kay Rhea, 63, passed away Friday, September 20, 2024 at UnityPoint Meriter Hospital in Madison, WI.  Tami was born on July 11, 1961 to James E. and Helene L. (Schumacher) Timm in Wisconsin Rapids, WI.

Tami prided herself on taking care of everyone she loved and also worked as a server at the Butterfly Restaurant in Rochelle for 25 years.  She was a great cook and was known for her famous macaroni and potato salad.  She mostly enjoyed spending time with friends and family, but especially loved her time with her grandchildren. Tami knew no stranger and will be missed by all.

Tami is survived by her two children: Samuel (Meghan Hogan) Rhea and Raeanne (Jeff) Boyer both of Byron, IL; two sisters: Suann (Gary) Wells of Burlington, IA and Karen (Mike) Collins of Rochelle; five grandchildren: Madilyn and Emersyn Rhea, Hudson, Hunter, and Charley Boyer and special friend, Larry Johnson.

The memorial visitation will be from 4:00 - 7:00 P.M., Thursday, September 26, 2024 at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. 6th St., Rochelle.  The funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, September 27 at the Esmond United Methodist Church, 675 Main Street, Esmond, IL with Pastor Dave Rogula officiating.  Burial will be at Lawnridge Cemetery in Rochelle.
