Rochelle

Teresa Lynn Melvin, age 67, passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2025 at Manor Court in Rochelle.  She was born on April 18, 1957, the daughter of Grant and Karen (Gardner) Kendall in Nephi, Utah.  On February 1, 1975, she married James T. Melvin in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Teresa enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.  As her family was growing, she enjoyed doing arts and crafts with them.  Camping was always a favorite and in her later years she enjoyed going for golf cart rides. She loved watching her grandchildren play their various sports.

Teresa is survived by her four children: Joshua Melvin, Nate (Brittany) Melvin , Jessica (Garet ) Galbreath and Jennifer (Chris) Damask; eight grandchildren: Dylan, Veda and Madilynn Melvin, Lila, Mila and Luca Damask, and Alia and Adilynn Galbreath and her brother, Randy (Diane) Kendall of West Valley City, UT.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jim, on March 27, 2015 and two sisters: Jackie Gonzales and Karen "Kay" Abila.
