Celebrating the Life of Tracy Jo LeMay

Family & Friends,

We announce here today not to mourn a loss but to celebrate a life well-lived. Tracy Jo LeMay was a remarkable person whose impact on all of us will be felt for years to come.

Born on October 6, 1970, in DeKalb, Illinois, Tracy was the beloved daughter of Joe LeMay and Virginia Johnson. Growing up in Kingston, IL, Tracy enjoyed a childhood filled with love, laughter, and adventure alongside her sisters, Dede Comingore and Becky Peters.

From a young age, Tracy developed a passion for adventure and journey. Her love for these things grew over the years, becoming a significant part of her life. Tracy's enthusiasm for flying to Europe and exploring new places around the globe highlighted her adventurous spirit.

Tracy's greatest joy was her family. She devoted herself to raising three wonderful children: her eldest son, Shadoe Miloš Balaban, and younger twins, Justin Nikola Balaban and Jessica Angelina Balaban. Tracy's love for her children was boundless, and she was an unwavering pillar of support and guidance throughout their lives.

As a grandmother to Malina Mitič, daughter of Jessica, Tracy's legacy of love extended to the next generation. Her presence in Malina's life was a source of joy and inspiration, embodying the same warmth and kindness she shared with everyone.

Her loving relationship with her spouse, Carlos Rojas, was a 28-year testament to her commitment to love and partnership. Together, they created a warm and welcoming home filled with laughter, love, and countless cherished memories.

Tracy had a gift for making everyone feel welcome. Whether it was through her favorite pastimes of cooking and catering, tending to her garden, or simply bowling, she brought people together with her infectious joy and genuine warmth. Her passion for loving unconditionally and never judging others based on their appearance was a defining characteristic that touched the lives of many.

Tracy was known for her unwavering love and acceptance. She embodied the values of loving freely and judging not, lest we judge ourselves. Her ability to see the best in everyone and her dedication to having the most fun and being part of the crowd made her an unforgettable figure in her circles.

Tracy's legacy extends beyond her immediate family. Her contributions to her community, her ability to make others feel welcomed, and her loving spirit will be remembered and cherished by all who knew her. Tracy's life was a testament to the power of love, acceptance, and freedom.

Tracy Jo LeMay passed away unexpectedly on June 11th at 8:43 pm. As we reflect on her life, we remember the joy, love, and inspiration she brought into our lives. Though she is no longer with us, her spirit lives on in our hearts and memories. Let us celebrate Tracy by continuing to share her story, uphold her values, and cherish the moments we had together.

Thank you all for honoring the extraordinary life of Tracy Jo LeMay. May we find comfort in each other and in the beautiful legacy she leaves behind.
