IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Troy Allen
Komadina
March 12, 2007 – July 11, 2023
Rochelle
Troy Allen Komadina, 16, passed away tragically July 11, 2023 from an automobile accident. Troy was born on March 12, 2007 in Sycamore, Illinois to Trevor and Lee Ann (Williams) Komadina.
May the words that I write leap off of this page and into your hearts. Our heads are clouded by this unimaginable loss. This young man would be eager to share his testimony of a life well lived. Strong, energetic and silly, this guy's favorite pastime was pestering his siblings. He was a self taught acrobatic gymnast and would tumble and pitch daily onto the garage floor, the hallways in the high school, an aisle in the store, our hardwood livingroom floors and coming soon to any lawn near you. Then we got a trampoline . . . let the annihilation begin.
Troy had many talents: extraordinary artist, protective big brother, very fun best friend, an eye for detail, generous complimenter, and curious explorer. He loved astrophysiology and was looking forward to the study of the universe and all its creation. All this and he played tennis on the side, enjoying the camaraderie. Troy had nice handwriting, a fabulous use of the English language and would do anything to make others laugh and smile. One thing that remains the common thread in all of this is Troy had tremendous charity in his heart. He had a kind word of encouragement for many in his life and at church. He adored and respected his Sunday School teacher, Jen, looked up to Pastor Corey regularly and his spirit prospered after hearing Pastor Angelo preach many, many times. Troy believed in Jesus and spoke of this faith often, turning to it in good times and in bad.
Troy is survived by his father and mother, Trevor and Lee Ann Komadina of Rochelle; adoring siblings: Ashley, Paige and Warren, who will miss him so very much and will remember him always in so many ways; paternal grandparents: Steve and Tracey Komadina of Rochelle and Susan Sastaad of Moline, IL; maternal grandparents: Lee Allen and Sandy Williams of Pleasant Plains, AR and Jan and Robert Medley of Springfield, MO; aunts and uncles: Carolyn "Aunt Cereal" Williams, Taren and Brandon Jones, Scott and Amanda Williams, Brooke and Cody Moore, Kristy Sullivan, Leslie and Jeremy Canard, Marcus Moreno, Sarah and Kody Hartz and Kevin Herrmann and many, many cousins all precious in the sight of God and to the warm welcome of Troy's humble heart even if they had not met yet.
